Comments: Probably endemic to Chile. Known from roughly between 42°22 and 49°11'S (Ref. 92913), Puerto Montt to Peninsula Taitao and Golfo de Penas to Strait of Magellan. Its abundance is from rare to locally common (Ref. 87801). C: Ref. 87801; O: Ref. 87801, 92913.
