Distribution:  Western Atlantic and Eastern Pacific: Chile, Ecuador and Peru.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is found on wave exposed rocks in intertidal areas to 40 meters in depth. It is known to feed on algal mats on the shells of fissurellid gastropods (Ref. 87801).
