Max. size:  13 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 5 - 20 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Endemic to Chile, from Valdivia to Antofagasta.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inshore species (Ref. 122473). Inhabits shallow marine environments (Ref. 106607). Found in the subtidal zone at depths of 5 to 20 m (Ref. 106787). Buried in subtidal soft bottom at 8 to 12 cm (Ref. 106607). Also found in areas with small rocks (Ref. 122472). Feeds on the bivalve Tagelus dombeii (Ref. 106607).
