Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Oregon to Mexico.
Diagnosis:  Description: The shell has prominent, light-colored ribs radiating from peak to edge of the shell; the edge is strongly jagged (Ref. 312).
Biology:  Assumed total length of 3 cm (Ref. 312). Behavior: Individuals occupy a very specific home site where the edge of the shell closely matches the contour of the rock. It returns to its home site after grazing (Ref. 312).
