Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species burrows in sandy and muddy habitats in shelves. They are carnivorous and prey on sea urchins, gastropods, bivalves, or crustaceans that crawl or swim into their grasp (Ref. 87872). Solitary (Ref. 2377).
