Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 15 - 30 m
Distribution:  Endemic to the Antarctic region.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Largest known blades, 8 m in length and 1 m in width (Ref. 26875). Minimum depth from Ref. 116836. Found in isolated patches in the infra-littoral zone down to a depth of 30 m (Ref. 26875).
