Distribution:  Indo-Pacific and Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This type series came from three different localities in the Pacific Ocean: Ovalou Island, Fiji Islands; Sandwich Islands; and Samoa Islands (Ref. 76997). Intertidal to subtidal (Ref. 106854). Found in brackish waters in French Polynesia (Ref. 77016).
