Max. size:  30 cm OT (male/unsexed)
Environment:  sessile; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Colombia, Panama and Belize.
Diagnosis:  Massive amorphous: 10 - 30 cm thick. Yellow to orange externally, and internally. Surface smooth to slightly rugose. Large oscules with membranes: 0.5 - 3 cm in diameter, and smaller ones 0.1 - 0.3 cm. Compressible, easy to break, apart (Ref. 415).
Biology:  Maximum thickness: 30 cm (Ref. 415). Inhabits canals of sponges (Ref. 83410) and attaches to rock and rubble among Thalassia sea grass in mangroves and protected lagoons (Ref. 82087). Also found on reefs (Ref. 415).
