Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 116013. Found on bay and nearshore and in the outer continental shelf (Ref. 116013). Colonial (Ref. 19). Known from sounds, shallow coastal benthic habitats (< 25 m), deeper coastal substrates (25- 100m) of the offshore fore-reef slope, Banks and upper slope (> 100m), tops of Challenger and Argus seamounts (Ref. 86643).
