Max. size:  18.2 cm TL (male/unsexed); 15.7 cm TL (female)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 238 - 702 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Australia and the Philippines.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It has carapace lengths of 3 to 8.6 cm (male), 2 to 7.4 (female), 4.7 to 8.2 cm and (ovigerous female) (Ref. 4). Prefers hard muddy substrates (Ref. 4).
