Max. size:  22.6 cm TL (male/unsexed); 18.4 cm TL (female)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 170 - 1060 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific and East Africa.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Carapace length: 2.2 to 7.1 cm (male), 1.4 to 7 cm (female), 4.2 to 7 (ovigerous females) (Ref. 4). Prefers soft muddy substrates (Ref. 4).
