Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 45 m
Distribution:  Northeast Pacific: Alaska to Mexico. Subtropical to boreal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Associated with the sea anemone, Anthopleura elegantissima and the giant green anemone, A. xanthogrammica, where it typically feeds. Burrows in sand when exposed at low tide (Ref. 95344).
