Max. size:  12.5 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 20 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: from East Africa, to Polynesia; north to Japan and south to Queensland and south Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Collected for food in Southeast Asia (Ref. 348). Found intertidal in sand (Ref. 75831) to subtidal (Ref. 799).
