Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: from the Red Sea to East Africa to Australia and Japan.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found intertidally, living in crevices of large rocks by the side of streams. Collected whilst grazing on rock surfaces exposed at low tide (Ref. 7867). Also found on mangrove areas (Ref. 129120).
