Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 33 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from India and Mauritius Island to the Philippines; north to the Yellow Sea and south to Indonesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on rubble (Ref. 75840). Also found on substrates composed of sand, mud, and dead shells (Ref. 83511).
