Distribution:  Antarctic Indian Ocean, Southwest Atlantic and Southeast Pacific: Kerguelen, Argentina and Chile.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is found in forests of Macrocystis pyrifera (Refs. 92889, 87801), attached to holdfasts, and is common on rocky substrates (Ref. 87801).
