Distribution:  Indo-Pacific and Southeast Atlantic. Tropical and subtropical.
Diagnosis:  Culmen: 3.78 cm; tarsus: 4.08 cm; wing: 31.8 cm.
Biology:  Forms breeding colonies on oceanic islands. Does not commonly trail ships (Ref. 91362). Exhibits pursuit diving (Ref. 356).
