Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 0 - 300 m
Distribution:  Arctic, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean and the Antarctic. Mostly polar, but also in subtropical, temperate and boreal climates.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is an attached species (Ref. 3123), found on polychaete tubes and dead gorgonians at depths of 20 to 34 m (Ref. 87801). Found at depths of 0 to 300 m (Ref. 120471).
