Family:  Solenoceridae (solenocerid shrimps)
Max. size:  9 cm BL (male/unsexed); 12 cm BL (female)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 15 - 40 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: restricted to northern Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits shallow water at depths from 15 to 40 m, over mud bottom with or without coral debris, rock, shell, or vegetation (Ref. 409).
