Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic, Southeast Pacific and Antarctic Indian Ocean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Contact to this species may cause dermatitis (Ref. 87801). This species is found on rocky substrates at depths of 14 to 19 m. It is associated with encrusting sponges and often on scallops (Ref. 87801).
