Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 2 - 2 m
Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in black sand, rich in hydrogen sulphide. Also in the biocoenosis of poorly oxygenated sand of intertidal zone (Ref. 2243).
