Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 200 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from the Andaman Sea to eastern Indonesia; north to Japan and south to Indonesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occasional bycatch of shrimp trawlers. Offshore (Ref. 799), sandy bottom (Refs. 821, 126564). Also found in shelf zones (Ref. 349).
