Country info:  Known from archipel des Australes, Rapa, pointe Komiré, RAPA 2002, station 10, 27°34.8'South, 144°22.8'West, 16 to 18 m in depth based on type locality. Found on stones from the intertidal zone down to 30 m depth, with preference for the upper zone (2 to 5 m in depth) (Ref. 2866). C: Ref. 87883; O: Ref. 2866.
