Identified under the name Cotylorhizoides pacificus and indicated its introduction in Pearl Harbor from the Philippine Islands as ship-fouling scyphistomae. Restricted to Pearl Harbor until about 1950, but appeared in Kaneohe Bay in 1953 to 1954 (Ref. 3252). Known to eat planktonic crustaceans and fish eggs and larvae. Ref. DeFelice, R.C., L.G.
