Trunk, lateral processes moderately long, slender. Neck very slender. Ocular tubercle about 2.5 times longer than its diameter, shorter than horizontally carried abdomen. Chelae fingers without teeth; legs with very few setae; femoral cement gland orifice a long, distal tube curved ventrally; propodal lamina little over half sole length; heel with 1 major spine, 4 stout setae; auxiliaries tiny but distinct (Ref. 2115, p. 41).

Members of the class Pycnogonida are gonochoric and sexually dimorphic. During copulation, male usually suspends itself beneath the female. Fertilization occurs as the eggs leave the female's ovigers. Males brood the egg masses until they hatch. Life cycle: Eggs hatch into protonymphon larva then to adults.
