Remarks | Samples were collected with double ring nets that were hauled vertically over the entire water column within 3-5 m of the seafloor to the surface, which had an average depth of 40-50m. Abundance of Pseudocalanus acuspes was not correlated to any physical factors measured in the study. The population, which was described as the most dominant species sampled in the study, generally consisted of all developmental stages, with adults rarely exceeding 10% of the population (Ref. 118525). |
