Comments | I am a volunteer for the Mexico Beach Artificial Reef Association. One of my duties is to survey the artificial reefs. Observations are made on the condition of the reefs and the marine life that is attracted to them. Reports are used to determine the best artificial reef materials to enhance local fisheries and are shared with Florida FWC, NOAA, and on our website, www.MBARA.org. I am also an Advanced Assesment Team member of REEF.org, and a certified Level 5 fish expert for the Tropical Western Atlantic region. I love using my underwater photography to make new discoveries and further scientific knowledge. I share my photos liberally with non-profit, scientific, and educational organizations. | |
