Description synthétique
Morphologie
Color varies from pale translucent yellow to bright orange. Mature specimens entirely orange, with gonads showing as white patches along the lateral body margins. Has a large, distinct mouth. The bluntly rounded head is slightly narrower than the trunk, and the body is widest in its anterior quarter.
Found under boulders or rocks in coarse sand (Ref. 125683). Also found on rock pools (Ref. 126155).
