Biologia     Glossario (es. epibenthic)

Species' maximum length from the Belgian part of the North Sea (Ref. 7882). Found along the coastal zone, often in fine-grained sediments and mud (Ref. 7882). Also found in hard bottom (Ref. 117453). This is a surface deposit feeder (Ref. 96214). Main food based on another species of the same genus; to be replaced with a better reference (Ref. 96292).

Members of the order Cumacea are gonochoric and sexually dimorphic. Spawning is characterized by nocturnal swarming behavior. Females brood the eggs in the marsupium where they molt, become mancas and leave.
