Comments: Known from Galicia as a sand dwelling benthic organism that has levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) after the 'Prestige' oil spill (Ref. 2810). One of the species exploited by artisanal fisheries operating in coastal waters of Galicia at intertidal to 60 to 80 m (Ref. 2815).
