Remarks | Found in rocky, volcanic shorelines with boulders, grottos, overhangs, and caves. Feeds on squid and various fishes and lobsters. Territorial males. Females enter the water en masse for short durations during rapid increase of solar radiation i.e., midday until early afternoon for thermoregulation (Ref. 80459). |
