Remarks | Small individuals of this species are found attached to filamentous algae, while larger ones are attached to a variety of algae by means of its adhesive disc on the base of their peduncle. It detaches and reattaches by somersaulting using their adhesive organs. Found at depths of 1 to 8m. Feeds on small crustaceans, fly larvae, polychaetes and gastropod mollusks. Preyed upon by fish and nudibranchs (Ref. 87801). |
