Remarks Shelf species. Collected at depths 5 to 470 on bottoms with sand, stones supporting hydroids, sponges and bryozoans, and bottoms of gravel covered with hydroids and alcyonarians. An epibiotic species found on hydroids (Ref. 7424), like Bougainvillia muscus (Ref. 87801).
