Remarks	Found in shallow, rocky subtidal habitats (Also Ref. 128626). Epifaunal on macroalgae (e.g., Ecicaria,Halopteris spp.) (Ref. 128160), sponges and artificial substrata (Ref. 3477). Dwells in sandy, muddy substrates underneath detritus and dead shells. Builds mud tubes on hydroids, sponges and algae (Ref. 128626).
