Remarks Occurs in the sublittoral zone (Ref. 77016).; in shallow waters from 9 to 27 m on coral reefs and marine caves. It is probably nocturnal. Its larvae is planktonic (Ref. 4). Palinurids are mainly considered carnivores (Ref. 105260).
