Ecology of Phanogenia gracilis

Main Ref. Schoppe, S., 2000
Remarks Inhabits the infrastructure of reefs (Ref. 800). Found in a lagoon, under rubble, coral overhangs, and on fore reefs under crevices at night (Ref. 101028). Also beneath ledges, pinnacle overhangs on reef slope and among coral branches. May be cryptic or semicryptic (Ref. 100368). A host to a diverse assemblage of symbionts (Ref. 101028). Feeds on plankton and detritus (Ref. 800).
