Remarks Occurs in coastal (Ref. 117213) and offshore waters (Ref. 343). Subtidal (Ref. 106854). Inhabits sandy to muddy substrates (Refs. 343, 121749). Abundant in muddy flats (Ref. 121750). Shallow infratidal species down to 42 m depth but also found swimming at the surface (Refs. 121747, 121749), especially at night (Ref. 121749).
