Mixotrophic - filter feeds and photosynthesizes via its zooxanthellae (Ref. 105208). Tridacnids derive their nutrition from uptake of dissolved matter through their epidermis and from their symbiotic zooanthella Symbiodinium microadriaticum (Ref. 107098). |
