Max. size:  43 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 17 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Its mantle length is 7 cm (Ref. 96968). It is the most common octopuses sold in the home aquarium trade worldwide. It is fished on a small scale for subsistence consumption and bait (Ref. 96968).
