Family:  Acrochordidae (wart snakes)
Max. size:  81 cm SVL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; brackish; marine; depth range 4 - 20 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:  This species has small scales with tubercle-like keels, and a stout and compressed body. Females grow to a larger size than males.
Biology:  Length based on occurrence record; to be replaced with a better reference.
