Diagnosis: | Colonies are encrusting or sub-massive or form a complex of horizontal plates and large irregularly diving upright bifacial fronds. Corallites are in deep valleys which are concentric on plates and generally less than 50 mm long. Tan, brown or yellow-brown in color. | |||
Biology: | Zooxanthellate (Ref. 116012). In Belize, it was found in a submarine cave near Columbus Cay at a depth of 10 m (Ref. 87209). | |||
