Distribution:  Northwest Pacific and Northern Atlantic: from South Korea to Gulf of St. Lawrence, east to Spain and north to Svalbard.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 83447. Feeding type is suspension feeding. Known to occur on infralittoral of the Gulf and estuary (Ref. 87872).
