Environment:  pelagic; brackish; marine; depth range 0 - 35 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic and Eastern Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Measures 7 mm high with hollow, conical, apical projection; large manubrium with crinkled lips extending to the bell cavity; sac-like, highly-folded gonads extend outwards to the radial canals; 4 radial canals, 2 very large opposite tentacles with elongated, conical basal bulbs and 14 small solid rudimentary tentacles at the margin, each with a red ocellus (Ref. 2376).
