Max. size:  1.4 cm LS (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 476 - 540 m
Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: New Zealand.
Diagnosis:  Lateral processes crowded together; increasingly shorter from anterior to posterior. Conical ocular tubercle and abdomen approximately the same short length. Short proboscis protruding ventral corners. First coxa, low laterodistal bumps. Male femoral cement glands consists of a row of 12 -14 tiny pores on the proximal half of the segment. Sixth or terminal oviger segment as long as the fifth. Sixth always shorter than the fifth in almost all species of this genus except for a few species and the few others having only five oviger segments.
