Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, Atlantic, Arctic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 112705. Found beneath beach rock boulders, embedded in sand (Ref. 3197) of intertidal areas to depths of 35 m (Ref. 691). Known from seamounts and knolls (Ref. 3477).
