Max. size:  7.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 600 - 4400 m
Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic and Indo-West Pacific: New Zealand and Reunion Island.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in bathyal to abyssal zones, on sandy substrate (Ref. 19). Often lives in arenaceous foraminiferan tests (Ref. 1840).
