Max. size:  17 cm WD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  South Africa and Malay Archipelago.
Diagnosis:  Up to 17 cm wide, with 8 broad, marginal lobes slightly notched centrally; branching of the canals mainly in their distal portions; mouth-arms long and broad, much folded and lobed throughout their length, with a deep incision at their base. Color of tentacles and gonads rose-red.
