Max. size:  100 cm H (male/unsexed)
Environment:  sessile; marine
Distribution:  Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:  Species can reach 1 m height. The ramifications are of cylindrical section; and are deprived of protuberances and peaks yellow coloring to orange; more rarely pink (Ref. 358).
Biology:  Maximum Heigth: 100 cm. Biology: the sponge being provided with choanocytes, able to generate considerable currents of exchange, they frequently proliferate on sites where water stagnates completely. On the other hand, this species, against this observation of a general nature, affect in one rather zones where mixing is dynamic (Ref. 358).
