Distribution:  Southeast Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Bathypelagic. Recorded in warmer (15.2-15.6°C) waters than previously reported. Ascent to warmer, mesopelagic depths occurs at night. Recorded salinity at 200m depth ranged from 35.2-35.5psu (Ref. 129009).
