Distribution:  Western Atlantic and Northeast Pacific: Winters along Pacific coast from Aleutian Islands to Mexico, across S USA along Gulf coast, N to New England, Greater Antilles.
Diagnosis:  Culmen: 2.7 cm; tarsus: 3.125 cm; wing: 16.5 cm.
Biology:  Depth range based on occurrence in Chesapeake Bay (Ref. 115854). To be replaced with a better reference.
